Joe Perry-Aerosmith solo project

Hi,
Did anyone buy Joe Perry's latest solo release titled "Joe Perry"?
They are great classic rock stuff on it,not something you here that often today. And its his first solo effort on vocals.
I think he did a pretty good job.
Did anyone else hear it?

Aloha !

I haven't heard it yet. When he sings during Aerosmith shows it doesn't sound like I'd love a full album of it.

Didn't he have a singer during the Joe Perry Project? I believe Joe only did backup vocals.

I listened to some samples but found it incredibly boring.

I bought the album and I found it very classic not boring.
these are one of few albums today that arent based on all this commercial stuff around.
It was pure rock.

Also in the Joe Perry project he was only backing vocals, never on lead so its pretty cool to hear Joe all by himself.

I read that Joe played ALL the instruments except the drums on this album in his Boneyard Studios.

its a shame that he only did 2 live shows for this album!Would've loved to see him live!

Joe's been singing lead on Aerosmith records, on songs like Walk On Down and Falling Off.

Yeah, and also Back Back Train on the latest Blues album release. His voice is well suited to that song. I think he also takes a verse in Mama Kin when they play it live on the A Little South of Sanity CD. It isn't Tyler that sings the whole of it anyway I know that much.

It is Tyler, it's the way he used to sing during the early days and he copies his way of singing on that track, on Dream On the same story. I thought the same as you do, untill I heard the early tracks.
