Around 3:58 Jon goes for the high "Lay my hands on YOOOUUU..." and, as the result, his voice cracks quite audibly. Seeing JBJ give himself a serious stink eye afterwards is freaking hilarious!

My God, that Prayer was embarrassing to watch. I actually feel sorry for Jon having to do that.

One (and probably another as well) can obviously hear Jon's vocal improvement between Osaka and Barcelona/Detroit. That said, in my honest opinion he had already gotten his voice back by the time they hit Sydney, as judging by the recordings above, he really delivered in those two concerts. For example, Wild In The Streets never sounded good again after Sydney night #2 '08 for me. Songs like Blood On Blood, In These Arms, Blaze Of Glory, I'll Be There For You (night #1 - night #2 got Richie singing the song), Keep The Faith and Hallelujah sounded incredible as well, and even Prayer sounded pretty good by post-'01 standards.

Any idea who the girl is or what this event was? Is it recent?

She can sing! Jon sounds pretty nice on this video too. Get her in the band!!!!

In the extended description, it sounds like she was just a lucky fan!

From the staging, my guess would be that it's from the July 28, 2016 show he did at BB Kings. But I'm not sure if Bobby was playing with him at that time.

When Jon performed there in 2015, he did BoR with a male fan. The only other show I saw listed for BB's was one in 2014; and BoR wasn't on the set list according to setlist.fm. (Of course, it could have been added to the set.)

Hmmm. I believe Setlist.fm goes by people reporting what they saw and less about what's printed on the setlist. I feel like Bobby as gone by that point. I know even after he stopped with the band he still popped up a bit at Jon's shows and then vanished.

Haha :D I'm sorry, but I've actually never really cared about these kind of JBJ Fanclub shows, so I'm not really able to help here.

That's what I thought, too. But I checked again this morning (yeah, I'm stubborn that way!)... :D

In both 2014 and 2015 Bobby was wearing a black short-sleeve T-shirt. But he actually was there in 2016, too; and he's wearing the same long sleeved black shirt and playing the same guitar as in the "Lauren" video. (I woulda compared JBJ but he looks the same in all three videos!) LOL
