The verses will be tough for him. But I'm optimistic on Dry County though because it doesn't have crazy high notes.

The chorus of Hey God would definitely be very, very, VERY hard for Jon to sing. The highest notes on HG are at least a full step higher than the ones of BOR (at least B4s if not even C5s, whereas the highest notes of BOR are A4s, if I remember correctly) and all the three choruses are constantly high, whereas the chorus melody of BOR goes up, down, up and then down again. These Days would be a far better track for it to compare with (lots of ascending/descending B4s), and as Jon fell flat on every high note besides the two "Ain't nobody left but us..." parts near the end of the song even in Sao Paulo - let alone in Endicott and Santiago -, his current vocals on Hey God would probably be pretty... ehmm... rough as well. Plus, he certainly would whisper the verses and shout the choruses whilst gripping the mic stand throughout the song, so (at least to my ears) it wouldn't sound or look pleasant at all.

The chorus structures of both songs are quite identical but with Hey God requiring more range. If he sings with the tambo then he might not even use it. I can only imagine it as a disaster. Diamond Ring could've been a great addition instead of Hey God. Will be happy too if they do this again: Lie To Me in acoustic then followed with Always. Can be a great crowd pleaser!
