I hope this doesn't offend anybody, but I've been having this discussion with a friend who insisted he knew what this song was all about. Well, I just thought he was being a man until he showed me Dave Grohl's answer, so I guess I have to believe it.

What do you think this is all about and if you know don't blow it :wink:

I think there's an obvious sexual meaning.
I'd say it's about someone, a prostitute maybe, searching either for real love or the ultimate orgasm, or both, through extreme sex and drugs.
Last verse makes me suppose that person is a gay man.
