I'm excited because I got tickets to see two Keith Urban shows at the Ryman in Nashville, my favorite venue. It'll be great to see him in a smaller setting again. :)

Vince Neil with Skid Row. It's a benefit concert here in December for Phoenix Children's Hospital, and I found out about it because my favorite radio station, 93.3, emailed me. They said the first 200 tickets (and this place can barely hold 2000 people so it's pretty intimate, circular seating and a rotating stage. The farthest seat is only 70 feet away) would be sold for only $9.33, even though the fees they tacked on bumped it up to a little under 25 dollars. And right after I bought the tickets, I got a late birthday present of 25 DOLLARS so this was fated to happen. 9th row baby :p

I wasnt going at all but WET playing instead of Warrant swayed me big time. Really looking forward to it now especially seeing Vega,Strangeways and Steve Augeri.(And WET obviously). Was going to see House of Lords next week but the shows have been cancelled as James Christian has been told to rest due to a cancer op recently. |

We are heading over for a family holiday with my wife and son - 5 nights in Anaheim (can't wait to see my son flip his lid at Disneyland), 5 in LA and 3 in Vegas. I get to catch the mighty Steel Panther on our last night there before we head home. PUMPED!!!

Janet Jackson was surprisingly amazing last night at the Perth show. Had a blast and a half!
The last ticket I bought though was for Roxette in February next year. Should be good! |
Explosions in the Sky in January.
Got me through a lot of tough times in Saudi so it'll be awesome to see them live. |

Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes in Amsterdam and Osnabrück.
Great and fun as every year :) |

Saw 30 Seconds To Mars yesterday. Not a bad show, but it seems they're going through an '80s Bon Jovi period'. They're having shows everyday and Jared's voice is so shot it can be compared to Jon's at SWW tour.
|
Just bought tickets for SSJ and the Poor Fools (a side project of SSJ and the Asbury Jukes). Can't wait to see how they handle a different sort of show from the typical Jukes concert.
|
Gonna be buying (in 2 days when they go onsale) tickets for the Guster acoustic project. They were so good in November when I saw them that I will be happy to see them again. They are a band that just keeps getting better and better.
I didn't think much of them when I first saw them (in 2003 I think) but they are almost a different band now and they sound terrific. Especially if you like good acoustic harmony. Ryan's (the lead singer) voice has also improved over the years. |
I'm in shock. I just bought a ticket to see Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes, and I won't have to get on a plane! They're playing Winston-Salem, NC, on February 14. That's less than 5 hours away! Woooo hooooooo!
The ticket price was outrageous, though. $15.00 . . . $18.05 after fees. They should be ashamed. :p |
