In 1992: "I can't vote for that guy". In 2008: "Everybody vote for that guy".

It's hard for me to take issue with that or even see him as flip flopping when we both felt exactly the same way. Part of that has to do with growing up and being a little wiser hopefully. Gore was also a dirty word from where I stood back in 1992. In 2000 he was a chance to get the country on a sane track, never mind his wife.

It's not about who he supports, it's the fact that he does. How can he support someone he couldn't stand behind 10 years before? Al Gore as much of a lesser evil in 2000 as he was in 1992.

I liked it when Jon was still rock. When he still said what he actually thought, when he told the world to **** off.

I don't know, I guess Bon Jovi is just so lame these days. No rock, no danger, no nothing.

It's funny reading that article, knowing the backstory behind it (or at least Lonn Friend's version of the backstory behind it.)

Jon is a cock sucker.

That's all I can say. After all, music critics are not totally wrong about him.

Best regards.

What you think and believe when you are twenty and what you think and feel at thirty are often very different. And as someone who has been there, what I thought at thirty and what I think and believe at forty something is so damn different that it seems like a totally different life. People change as time, experience and perspective grow and pass.
