set up the v+hd box to record the isle of wight to find out that they weren't showing the Bruce set until after the programme was scheduled to end and they only showed 4 songs. so annoyed with skyarts.

It's live TV on a massive scale so you've got to give them a bit of leeway with it.

Personally I love the fact they chose not to go with the obvious hits and it's got me G'd right up for London.

If you taped the full thing and you're a fan, they show the whole of Noel gallagher's set at the start and he's brilliant.

What does everyone think of the first album? I can't stop listening to 'Does This Bus Stop...?' and 'Lost In The Flood'.

Greetings is my favourite Bruce album!

I think Greetings is a favorite for me because it was the first one - not necessarily because it's the best album. That said however, when you look at the tracklist and you look at what gets played a lot at live shows these days you will see that it holds up quite well.

Blinded by the Light
Growin' Up
Mary Queen of Arkansas
Does This Bus Stop at 82nd Street?
Lost in the Flood
The Angel
For You
Spirit in the Night
It's Hard to Be a Saint in the City

Growin Up, Bus Stop, Lost in the Flood, For You, Spirit and Saint in the City all get played in relatively frequent rotation (at least here in Jersey they do). That's 6 songs out of 9 played from the first album which was released in 1973. And Blinded by the Light was a hit by another band but I've always loved it. Lost in the Flood remains one of my all time favorites though.

I found out that I did not have the Greetings album of Bruce Springsteen. When I search for it I find 2 different versions.
The first one has the following tracklist:
Blinded By The Light (5:04)
Growin' Up (3:05)
Mary Queen Of Arkansas (5:21)
Does This Bus Stop At 82nd Street? (2:05)
Lost In The Flood (5:17)
Angel (3:24)
Respectable - (Studio) (4:40)
Spirit In The Night (4:59)
It's Hard To Be A Saint In The City (3:13)

The second one has the following tracklist:
Blinded By The Light
Growin Up
Mary Queen Of Arkansas
Does The Bus Stop At 82nd Street?
Lost In The Flood
Angel, The
For You
Spirit In The Night
Its Hard To Be A Saint In The City

Does anyone know why the difference is track 7? (For you / respectable)

I salute you,
TS

Hmm...I know of no Springsteen track called Respectable. I searched the database at the main site and still came up with nothing. Is it possible that it's a miss-print or a typo? For You is the track that I Have on my album at that place.
