100,000,000 Sold... Who Else?
 

When then got their award for 100,000,000 albums/ cd's sold, I think they said that only 4 others have acheived this feat. Either that or they were 4th. I was always wondering who else. Then a couple weeks ago on Idol, they said Kenny Rogers has sold like 113M. Yesterday I heard Madona has 103M. I'm thinking now that when Bon Jovi got that award, maybe they said 4 other bands. Kenny & Madona being solo artists would then not be in the same listing.

I could probably look this info up somewhere, but would be easier to have someone tell me!

Anyone know?

Elvis, Michael Jackson and the Beatles are all, supposedly, well past 200M. Those are the only artists(solo or band) I'm 100% certain of.

Madonna definitely. I am pretty sure Mariah Carey has sold that much too

I imagine the Stones & U2 as well.

The 3 others that had got the diamond award were Rod Stewart, Mariah Carey and Celine Dion as far as I remember

yea i can't see the stones and u2 having sold less than that. i'm sure they'd both be up there
