Maybe Jon's best lyrics in many years. I know he can't deliver vocals big time anymore, but this is something I can connect to and the first song I've enjoyed upon first listen since I don't even know when...

Lyrics are good but not great.

First chorus especially sounds pretty terrible. Second one with more instruments sounds better, but the melody and the lyrics for this part are still pretty meh. Of course, if JBJ were to belt them out I Believe-style, with slashing guitar chords underneath, the melody and lyrics would probably work. I feel kinda bad for him considering neither his guitar guy nor belting out are on the table.

The harmonica solo is pretty damn cool, also as an arrangement choice. To me, it sounds super American, which fits the theme for sure.

Overall, it is a nice track, heartfelt and all. It absolutely does not kick ass, but I doubt that was the intention here.

I must admit I really liked the song.
I agree with RD,its a very very Bruce song.
It a very decent song,not as Limitless,which is embarrasing as a Bon Jovi fan.

The song becomes live at 0h in your local time.

I like the song. Sounds sincere.

But what stands out is the lyrics. I really, really love the lyrics. Jon still got it.

I like the song, nice lyrics. Really somber, It achieves what it sets out to do, you can't make a song like this too bombastic otherwise it might detract from the message and come off as cheesy. This album is shaping up to be a really somber one. I might be alone in this but I really hope the rest of the album carries more variety in the melody and instrumentation. All this stuff like this one, unbroken and do what you can is nice and all but I really miss the hooks!!
