Saturday Night makes my Saturday Night this time.
I was so suprissed yesterday, when Someday I'll Be Saturday Night rocked the dance floor in a club I was in. I've never heard it before when I've been out and when it started, I thought 'Bon Jovi', but I couldn't think what song because I was drunk. When I heard the "Hey man, I'm alive...." though I just went wild and sang to my heart's content. It gave me a real buzz to hear something different from Prayer or Bad Name in a club. I looked silly because I was one of the few singing, but then not many know the song. Just the BJ fans.
Heh, another good night, with the help of Bon Jovi! |

I tries to avoid pubs, but if the play this kinds of music in England, hell those pubs are worth a visit!

I was in a bar in Richie's home town of Woodbridge, NJ where some local metal bands were playing. The DJ started playing Wanted between sets, and I prepared myself to hear an avalanche of boos and groans from the metal crowd. But the next thing I knew, everyone in the place was singing along! :D

Someday I'll be Saturday Night is one of my all time fave BJ songs! I'm surprised it was played in a club, it's not that easy to dance to - but hey if you're drunk

I rarely listen to the radio and when I do its only like local radio.
Anyway on those rare occasions 90% of the time I hear Someday I'll Be Saturday Night, hardly ever Prayer or IML. :) |
This weekend I was treated to Livin On A Prayer - a bar where rock songs never get plaid, its always dance only. I was well chuffed!
I have only ever heard Prayer,. KTF, Bad name and IML in a club/bar. I must say IML rocks!!! |
I've heard Janie Don't You Take Your Love To Town in a pub once, but that was on a Jukebox, which this guy put on. I told him he had good taste, and he said, "I thought Jon Bon Jovi was better than this". I was kinda offended, but I let it go. Maybe he just hasn't heard it enough.
