Anyone knows what this is? See attachment. Did Joe Satriani actually play with them? On a bootleg page it says he played on the JBJ solo tracks that were played that night but can't find anything. Would appreciate any info.

He definitely did not play with them, best guess is someone naming the cd misheard 'Richie Sambora'.

Discogs page says it was December 8th 1994 and in Boston.

This is on Youtube:

I remember that intro; didn't Dominic post that vid recently? Maybe he knows more about the show.

There is a shorter high quality recording of Boston 1994 around with about 12 songs that was released through some bootleg label and had Joe Satriani printed on it though he wasn't there.

These are all the Christmas shows the band did in 1994:

1994/12/06 - Théatre St. Denis, Montreal Canada

1994/12/08 - Orpheum Theatre, Boston, Massachusetts, USA

1994/12/10 - Beaver County Community College, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, USA

1994/12/12 - Fox Theater, Atlanta, Georgia, USA

1994/12/14 - Count Basie Theatre, Red Bank, New Jersey, USA

Out of all these shows, only Atlanta hasn't appeared with a recording thus far but very detailed reviews including pictures and the songs were posted on fan sites in the 90s. So I think it's the same kind of fairytale as the radio broadcast from Lahr in Germany in 1995. ;)
