I even posted a lengthy review but it seems no one is interested in that bc it was too positive maybe? I used to be so critical about the band and hated all those youtube vids but in person it was much better. The bootlegs still makes your ears hurt but it's a totally different experience live. Jon's lost his voice but still can provide shows that entertain thousands. Even if some fans left, the vast majority stayed in the venue. I have a vague feeling that maybe I need a few days/weeks break from this board bc I suddenly feel I don't belong here.

Being there just a face in the crowd singing your heart out among people that share your passion is priceless. Shows are awesome. Of course you had a great time and I'm glad you did.

Here we watch youtube videos and " " " " "analyse" " " " " " performances and it's just another thing.

That is the problem....and regarding the money machine: I read somewhere that Matt according to himself 'joined a company and they asked him if Jon would do a cruise and he had to convince Jon to join 'for the Bon Jovi family Translation: Matt got hired because he is Jon's brother and he used a cheesy line to get Jon on board (no pun intended) I's say they all live in a big bubble or Matt is using his brother. I mean who in this family has done anything without Jon's celebrity status. No one, which I think is terrible. Pasta Sauce, Runaway Tours, The restaurants...Oh and his son and his wine. Jon is a cash cow...he either needs it or he is naive

I mean maybe I am an idiot and they just show their support for each other that way but in the end they all get rich because of Jon and shouldn't you help your family to stand on your own feed and celebrate their own achievements?

I don't believe any of this bubble stuff. Nor do I believe any of the Yes-people he supposedly surrounds himself with.

Besides, every member of Jovi's family would've made their own life financially if he wasn't famous. It's not as they would be deadbeats now if Jon didn't "make it". Jon happens to be an opportunity and they took it, nothing wrong or weird with that.

They might have normal jobs but especially in the States, if you don't have money, you can't afford good schools, if you don't go to a good school and don't have good connections you don't get good jobs.
And yes, for me it is weird to use the opportunity of having a famous family member to make a living. I am very different and just need to know that I am independent in my life

I sometimes feel that Lea simply always has a contrary opinion to anyone else here.

About 1500 people from Hungary went by buses (organized by a club called "Todi") to Vienna. I didn't go with them, but I'm in their facebook group. There were a lot of comments about the show and everyone enjoyed, even calling it their best show/best day of life, whatever... I also enjoyed it very much, I think it was great.
After watching all the videos I think the Vienna one was a pretty good one.
Since the show I can't wait to see/hear them again, but I must admit, that unless some miracle happens to Jon's voice, the next tour will be their last. Unless they do it very "light". 6 shows in Europe, and done.
