Thunder :: Better Man

anyone know the song?

its my fav Thunder track, really fantastic vocals on it, its a crowed fav i know just wonderd if you lot like it or even know of it, not being soft, i dunno, the song gets to me in a way...

A Better Man
Once in a while, I drift in time
To a place in my memory that it still hurts to find
I was taking on the world with a see through smile
But sying on the inside all the while
I was dying on the inside all the while
Like a martyr that don't want sympathy
I locked away my feelings and threw away the key
It was gonna take a miracle to pierce my pride
And you were the tower of strength that tried
When your loving washed right over me like the tide

CHORUS

And now I believe in love
I believe in love
You're the reason why I can
Cos when I look at myself in the mirror
I see a better man, a better man

Yes it's hard finding words that can say how I feel about you
I don't care if it sounds like an old cliché
But I can't stand the thought of living my life without you
For even a day

(SOLO)

And now I believe in love
Yes I believe in love
You're the reason why I can
Cos when I look at myself in the mirror
Oh baby when I look at myself in the mirror
When I'm looking at myself in the mirror
I see a better man...

I know stuff about older music (read: late 80s/early nineties mainly, cf. Low life... and then the 50s/60s stuff, and the 70s from my Rock Dictionary - sorry, OTd... ) but I know almost nothing about today's music...

But Thunder I know and like :)

ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i got harry's drum stick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARGH!!!!!!!

then erm some lady had two fingers on it and me being a guilty hearted lad let her have it....i should of smacked the dappy cow!

I WANT THAT FOOCKING STICK! ITS MY FOOCKING STICK! I GOT THE FOOCKING STICK!!!

ah well, made her smile, thats another good deed andy did...WHAT A PRICK!

oooooooooooooo AND tribute to Robert Palmer was played by singing something that has slipped my mind :? ahhh Addicted To Love

MIGHT AS WELL FACE IT YOUR ADDICTED TO LOVE 8)

ok so when my hearing comes back ill kinda listen to the recording - though i know it was foocking terrible, i know it was so bad and it upset me LOL, watford is an acoustic venue basucally, ALOT of professional classical music is recorded there and for a loud rock band it doesnt suit too well

urgh and as for the support plebs! a complete bunch of tossers, four lads, EVERY SINGLE SONG was "im going to **** your mum" i ****ed your sister last night" just kinda rude, i swear more than most but this was weird lol, knowone licked me, they sucked....myu brother will love them on saturday LOL

oooooo and thier penultimate track..."christina sucks, briteny swallows" hmmmmmmmmmmmmm yes welllllllllllllll, was funny anyway

now for my english essay then master my taping...though its pathetic :?
