i saw them in July at a festival and they were amazing! they're coming again in October and i'm seriously considering this. i only knew Employment (+ Ruby) and luckily for me they played quite a few off that album (they only played 12 songs in total :))

awesome Eddie! i can't sleep just thinking about this :)

so i'm adding Bryan Adams in December to the list. i can't break the tradition of not missing a Bryan Adams show since 1991 ~ and as an appreciation for my loyalty, he could break the tradition of playing Everything I Do :?

I'm excited because I got tickets to see two Keith Urban shows at the Ryman in Nashville, my favorite venue. It'll be great to see him in a smaller setting again. :)

I thought about trying to catch one of those shows, but since they're actually Opry shows, I wondered how many songs I could expect KU to do. Do you know, Becky?

bonjovi821 09-10-2011 06:25 AM

Vince Neil with Skid Row. It's a benefit concert here in December for Phoenix Children's Hospital, and I found out about it because my favorite radio station, 93.3, emailed me. They said the first 200 tickets (and this place can barely hold 2000 people so it's pretty intimate, circular seating and a rotating stage. The farthest seat is only 70 feet away) would be sold for only $9.33, even though the fees they tacked on bumped it up to a little under 25 dollars. And right after I bought the tickets, I got a late birthday present of 25 DOLLARS so this was fated to happen. 9th row baby :p

I really don't know. Since they're being billed as "Keith Urban and others" I expect them to be heavily Keith, you know, since they don't even officially name even one other artist on the bill. I also expect they're going to make him a member of the Opry. You have to do a certain number of performances for the Opry per year when you're a member and he's doing 4 in a matter of weeks. I also imagine he'll play with some of the other artists who do appear since the Opry often has collaborations.

Saw Beady Eyes last month and Liam Gallagher was pretty good. After that concert, i started like some of there songs.

Gonna go for Metallica this month. That should be awesome!! :D

No Friday sold out I believe and not too bothered about the Sunday line up.
I wasnt going at all but WET playing instead of Warrant swayed me big time.
Really looking forward to it now especially seeing Vega,Strangeways and Steve Augeri.(And WET obviously).
Was going to see House of Lords next week but the shows have been cancelled as James Christian has been told to rest due to a cancer op recently.

i think i read HOL had postponed the whole tour. they also cancelled the show they were going to play here in November. i wasn't going to go but i just found out Mitch Malloy is playing the day HOL were supposed to play so i'll more than likely go to this one.

life_of_agony 10-16-2011 03:53 AM

Steel Panther at The House Of Blues in Las Vegas on the 18th November. I can't wait. We are heading over for a family holiday with my wife and son - 5 nights in Anaheim (can't wait to see my son flip his lid at Disneyland), 5 in LA and 3 in Vegas. I get to catch the mighty Steel Panther on our last night there before we head home. PUMPED!!!

Oh Terri - you will love the show (I think). I have been a Paul Simon fan since 1965 and nothing has ever changed my mind about him.

Scratch that. My stepdad, who's always "too busy" to show up on MY birthday, took back permission for me to go to this show on his birthday. :|

Janet Jackson was surprisingly amazing last night at the Perth show. Had a blast and a half!

The last ticket I bought though was for Roxette in February next year. Should be good!

Jim Bon Jovi 10-21-2011 02:43 AM

Explosions in the Sky in January.

Got me through a lot of tough times in Saudi so it'll be awesome to see them live.

Miracle 10-21-2011 03:43 AM

The Trews in December. I needed a pick-me-up today :-)

Great and fun as every year :)

Noel Gallagher.

Walleris 11-04-2011 02:40 PM

Saw 30 Seconds To Mars yesterday. Not a bad show, but it seems they're going through an '80s Bon Jovi period'. They're having shows everyday and Jared's voice is so shot it can be compared to Jon's at SWW tour.

Kathleen 11-15-2011 02:36 AM

Just bought tickets for SSJ and the Poor Fools (a side project of SSJ and the Asbury Jukes). Can't wait to see how they handle a different sort of show from the typical Jukes concert.

Kathleen 01-12-2012 03:00 AM

Gonna be buying (in 2 days when they go onsale) tickets for the Guster acoustic project. They were so good in November when I saw them that I will be happy to see them again. They are a band that just keeps getting better and better.

I didn't think much of them when I first saw them (in 2003 I think) but they are almost a different band now and they sound terrific. Especially if you like good acoustic harmony. Ryan's (the lead singer) voice has also improved over the years.

milomom 01-12-2012 08:04 PM

I'm in shock. I just bought a ticket to see Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes, and I won't have to get on a plane! They're playing Winston-Salem, NC, on February 14. That's less than 5 hours away! Woooo hooooooo!

The ticket price was outrageous, though. $15.00 . . . $18.05 after fees. They should be ashamed. :p
