Today is the official premiere of The Dark Knight, and only a couple of days until the worldwide release. I made this thread so everyone who watches it can post their review and thoughts and stuff about the movie here. I personally can't wait to see it! Let the discussion begins!

...and I think it only opens here on the 24th, so I'll probably go a week after that to see it for my birthday - might treat myself and nip to Manchester to see it on IMAX :D

I hated Batman Begins but I'm looking forward to this. I love phychotic characters so this should be real good :D

Batman Begins was pretty much the best Batman movie made.

And this looks better!

I read on IMDB which was reporting from Rolling Stone that Heath Ledger is being considerd for an oscar.

Its actually got some bad reviews now on RT :( 89' Batman has only got a 69% on there although I love it, so dont really take much notice of that.

Most of the negatives of the film are centered around it being too dark (which is ridicolous as the point of it is to be dark and show even more the events that shape Batman to become the man he is) and that it is too long.
