Maybe I missed it, but I still haven't seen the most obvious one posted here.

WHADAYAGATIFYANGALAAAAV - what do you got if you ain't got love.
Although that's pretty much the same for the studio version as well.

Nope, he usually skips "and I wasn't" and goes for "there when you were down".

And that is probably why I put that part in brackets

He replaces "and I wasn't there" (which you didn't mention) with "baby".

Uhm, that's probably why I replied the way I did. I don't think he replaces "there" with "baby". And I did mention "there".

Interesting.

Just quickly re-listened to some versions since 2010. I had assumed baby because of the numbers of syllables I thought it made most sense. Now I think it's "or there when you were drown" (OEEEEIUUEEDAAAAUUN). It makes more sense lyrically than "baby" or simply "there"

You lot would all be devastated if Jon started to pronounce his words properly. You fickle lot

Come on, this thread is clearly just a bit of fun. It should've ended like 7 pages ago, though. Only a couple of the examples in this thread actually sound like Jon.

LOL. That could be a good compromise! ;) Also, it's "down", not "drown".
