Got tix for both shows in Gothenburg even though I had promised myself I wouldn't go....couldn't stand the pressure.

....and a few minutes ago I got 2 tix for a Metallica show in Copenhagen from my boss!! He can't go himself so I got them for free.
Not a Metallica fan as such but wouldn't mind seeing them as it's an intimate setting. I'll have to think about that one...otherwise I can always sell them, and finance some other concert I guess.

My friend just got me a free ticket to see Buckcherry/Papa Roach in May. Don't really care for Buckcherry, but I'm kinda looking forward to Papa Roach...

Keith Urban -- he's playing the night after Jovi at Summerfest in Milwaukee, so we decided to stay. :cool: Fingers crossed for another act we'd like to see on that Saturday night.

I don't really care for them but was interested in watching them at Download 07, and they really sucked. Out of time, absoloutly no punch, and a frontman who talks too much. When you're limited to a 20 min festival slot, i want songs not jibba-jabba!!
I assume they were having an off day.

Lucky! I'd love to go see them, but I doubt they'll be doing any UK shows and foreign travel isn't really an option for me at the moment :(

However, my mum did get me a ticket for Paolo Nutini in Aberdeen in May....may not be able to go depending on exams but hopefully it should be ok :)

I AM nostalgic for them, but they always were a great live act. They for sure will genuinely be loving the performance. If you like Whitesnake and Jovi, you'll enjoy them.

Just booked for Ginger (Wildheart]) @ Islington academy - electric tour, entirely solo material. More excited about this than I would be for the Wildhearts. Can't wait to hear Yoni songs played live. Some of the very best songs he's ever written are on there.

Skin was the first band I ever saw live, supporting Thunder. "Tower Of Strength" was a fun song. I did have an album of theirs at one point, in fact, I might still have it. Wasn't there another one called Money or something?
