This one's for Ice.

Don't know if you you've already seen it. KISS were at Wetten Dass (where Bon Jovi had been in January). The show is about bets and one had to do with KISS. So, after their performance they went outside to Michelle Hunziker on the screens to see how that bet evolves. Look around 6:10 when the one guy shouts it out loud (pun intended) in classic KISS vein... :)

That's the way the big boys do it. They're ten years older than Jovi, but rock twice as hard. 4 minutes, 2 song medley and more pyro than Jovi uses all year. Plus a singer who can hit notes Jon could never hit.

I saw this a few days ago but didn't post it here, because there are a very few people here that appreciate KISS.

Gee, Thanks for not thinking of me.

Thanks Crash, I saw that because of you, even if you were only thinking of Ice.

I thought it was great to see them doing a song other than MDD on TV. I'm sure you guys will get a more interesting setlist. It sounds like they are actually going to put Crazy Crazy Nights into the set!

Welcome. Didn't know that about you. In this case, it was for you as well, of course.

Sounds, er.. different.

Don't know if this has been posted before (I may have posted it myself previously!):

Dylan, Clapton, Young, Harrison, McGuinn, Petty...et al - My Back Pages

It's taken from Dylan's 30th Anniversary Concert and is one of my favourite live performances ever. Things are ticking along at a nice pace and then Clapton tears through it with one of the greatest bits of improv I've seen from him. Love it.

A bunch of guys do their rendition of NKOTB's "Single" at a wedding:

Hilarity ensues.

I love this one. Amazing to think you could get so many legends together on one stage.

Seen. Irritates me a bit.

BP ****ed up massively in the Gulf by letting the rig explode and whatever cost-cutting spazzery led up to that; but on the spill is that they're doing the best things anyone scientifically knows to deal with it (and come on, I'm as cynical about evil corporations as the next man, but it's not like BP don't feature or can't afford to pay the cleverest people in the oil industry to ****ing sort it, hence they've hired them - every day the oil gushes it's more compo money at American scales), but it's actually not something that's ever been sorted before, and their reaction to it involves some of the most interesting and hardest engineering that's ever been done.

Short film I'm in that my mate filmed for Film studies.

Not bad for his second time I think.

Not bad. But too many axis jumps. See 180 degree rule.

Yep, I know. The thing is, the lad I shoot, is the one who films it, so obviously, when he is in the scene, we have to get the other lad in the film to film it. We was meant to have another guy act but he had to go somewhere an hour before we was filming, and then we got given a camera that was terrible and we couldn't rewind to see how we was doing etc...

That's why I think he's done a good job with the editing and things because there would of been even more mistakes.

Tennessee Ernie Ford - 16 Tons

Doesn't get much more classic than this.

Well, one could say it's a stylistic device, like in the already classic Smeagol/Gollum scene. ;)

KeepTheFaith2211 07-18-2010 11:51 PM

My favourite advert/commercial ever. Doesn't take long to know why, really.

Seriously. Warms my heart so much hearing a voice like this :)

OK - I thought you fans of a band from New Jersey would appreciate this one. It's funny as hell - it's a comedy routine. But as with the best comedy there is a grain of truth to it.

If we had an Italian President from NJ

C'monFeet 10-07-2010 08:10 PM

It's always time for Cheap Trick.

ROFL I have to show this to my husband. He's from Jersey ;)

Jim Bon Jovi 10-18-2010 08:51 PM

A local "band" I'm probably going to be joining:

It's a big group of people all playing different instruments. Every week 2 new tunes are picked, everyone learns them then on Mondays they rehearse in a bar in town. After they build up a set over the month they do a gig :D

A film my mate made for his A Level Film Studies work.

This has to be one of the greatest performances by any band, ever. At least in my opinion.
