I thought he hated Idol????????????

I might sound a bit negative here, but do you think he is doing this to get some publicity before the new album is released?

He's going to be a guest judge? Dear oh dear.

But I don't think he's ever said he hates it.

He is?!?!?! F**K! I auditioned for this season (obviously wasn't selected). This is a nightmare. I feel ill.

When is he going to be a judge?

Any idea when he'll been on?

I was TOTALLY expecting this. A while back he did some kind of charity thing for Habitat or something and there were some AI related items, so I fully expected him to repay the favor by being on the show.

BTW, he's never said he hated the show. It's like much of everything else he says, it gets distorted and exaggerated. He's said he didn't watch it which is different from hating it.

but of course its publicity lol - cant imagine why else he would do it.

I remember reading that a while ago, might have been about 2 years ago?

I think he said something to the effect that he doesn't support the idea behind the show and the type of artisits they create on Larry King.

He's not a judge, he's the "coach" for the episode he is on. Whether it will be a Bon Jovi night they did not say. It has to be for the publicity for the new album, probably even under record company pressure. I'll go ahead and make the prediction he'll act semi-arrogant and like he doesnt want to be there.
