Aww the Shell building, used to cross the water with my bike on the ferry every single day... those were the days! ;)

It's sad I couldn't meet up with you in Amsterdam, Kev :(.

The San Antonio Saints?
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...nantonio10.jpg

The Saints are based in New Orleans. One of the players is a nephew of a friend of the family, so I took a couple of pix of the arena with their logo on it for him--then ran into him at the airport! It's a small world afterall. LOL

aww becky, hes great in all pictures but the second one is just sooo cute!!

Kathleen 06-05-2006 03:40 AM

Oh Becky - how gorgeous. I'll take her any day - what eyes she has.

Kathleen

Becky 06-05-2006 04:20 AM

Thanks! His name is Frosty--my brother started calling him that and it stuck. I wanted to name him Roswell because his head was huge and his body was skinny, so he looked like a little alien, but no one "got" it. My family and coworkers all asked if I was naming him after my friend Rosalind.

I keep that 2nd picture in a frame at work because I can't look at it without smiling. :)

Kathleen 06-05-2006 04:23 AM

And I thought he looked delicate and was a female cat - oh well. Is he a young cat? He looks young - or very hungry :)

Kathleen

Becky 06-05-2006 04:36 AM

He was young in those photos. He's almost a year old now. He was born last July. He was a super scrawny sickly little thing when I found him. But he got over it! ;)

So Russ is afraid of height.... and I guess it was not the highest you could get on the Tower, was it?? ;)

UKjovi 06-05-2006 07:10 PM

Neil, I just love your dog. He's such a cutie! And yes, I think he may have more toys than a lot of children in this world! I wish that my dog wasn't so destructive when it comes to toys. She can destuff a toy in less than a minute!

jess 06-08-2006 09:03 AM

Very nice pictures here again :)

slippery86 06-09-2006 09:53 PM

http://www.5images.com/uploads/83a78e7bec.jpg
...the law soc at uni was having a 1980s-themed fancy dress party, so this guy went as a rubik's cube!
sorry the picture quality is terrible, i took the pic on a camera phone.

Thomas Anderson 06-11-2006 06:55 PM

First time I've seen a butterfly when I had my camera, didn't get any other shots than this though that came out, it flew away when I got too close

jess 06-11-2006 10:55 PM

I bet it's not easy, it's a nice one but ... seeing one so close it's nearly scary lol :p look at all this hair

Thomas Anderson 06-11-2006 11:17 PM

This is just the butterfly, I cropped the original image and didn't resize it

I've got an "invisible fence" added to our real fence because they kept climbing over and getting out. One of my cats, Baby, got over the fence and got killed by a dog. Now if they get within three feet of it, they get a mild electric shock and back off. I haven't seen any of them venture near the fence since the day after it was installed. :D I asked my vet before I had it installed--he said it was very mild and it was much more humane than getting hit by a car or ripped to shreds by another animal.

UKjovi 06-24-2006 07:52 PM

Thats a great idea and if it keep them safe its well worth it .
