Howard Stern blamed Tommy Lee and Richie for driving her insane on his radio show before these last two episodes. I think it was just a Howard joke but Tommy Lee wasn't amused. Remember reading comments on her IG when she first posted with the new bf, people saying he was trouble???

Tough on middle aged women but especially in a shallow town where your life has been about your looks. Hard to get work (even with millions in the bank, still want to work most of the time), see women her age traded in for women 1/2 their age, hormones - so much.
Read she had spent time in a rehab facility and she talked about horse back riding. Sounds more like a resort than rehab. Needs some true mental health evaluations, coping skills and detox. Hate seeing this for her.

It sounds like she needs to be put on a psychiatric hold in a reputable facility.

Nothing good can come from this continuation of behavior.

it seems Heather is going to get the proper treatment finally... man, it's bad.

I genuinely hope that Ava never turns to alcohol or drugs to work out her problems. I can only imagine how hard it is to grow up with both parents in and out of rehab. I wish her good health and happiness.

It depends on how stable she is and whether she has learnt how to deal with heavier problems. At least she has both parents and I am sure they love her.

All reports state that Ava is much closer to her dad than her mum, while I'm sure she's going through it right now it sounds that Richie is there for her - and say what you want about him, he always seems to put Ava first. They clearly seem to have a great relationship.

It must be very tough for Ava to have parents who both have problems/issues. I sincerely hope she has the common sense not to turn to alcohol or drugs in this tough times for her.

I'm sure it's not easy under any circumstances; but, y'know, most families have issues of one kind or another. I can think of worse, albeit it more socially acceptable (or better hidden) things. Still, it has to be difficult to see them in and out of rehabs and hospitals, and now adding in the legal problems. Especially when it all plays out in the tabloids.

On the other hand, if reports are true, when their marriage went south, both Richie and Heather intentionally put Ava first, and put aside or worked through their own differences so they could both be there for her. That's more than a lot of parents do in situations like that. She seems to know that she's loved; and she apparently wasn't turned into a pawn or the rope in parental tug of war.

As for turning to alcohol or drugs herself, one would think that witnessing the negatives associated with substance abuse might be a deterrent in itself. But who knows. Even having a model home life is no guarantee against poor choices.

So sad...I believe if Richie had made a different wife choice instead of going for a Holywood star he wouldn't have gone through all that he has and would be in a better place in life now.

Both of them seemed to be in a great place for a good part of their marriage. Especially the 90s they seemed so in love. Richie even sent letters to Heather while on tour.
