This left feel right V/S One wild night

Which album from these two u prefer. I just bought the TLFR so i'm not quite sure. But i think onewild night album is better of these two.
What about u guys??.

BJfan4ever 12-26-2003 11:07 AM

One Wild Night 8)

Sambo-Chris 12-26-2003 11:18 AM

Any BJ-Album is better than TLFR. OWN is not bad. It's not what we hoped for but it's not really bad.

cherryrockcandy 12-26-2003 11:37 AM

OWN is better. TLFR is terrible.

Jag 12-26-2003 12:47 PM

two totally different things...i dont think TLFR can be compared to any album they have done because its such a separation from their normality.

Miracle 12-26-2003 05:48 PM

Oh...tough choice. Its difficult to compare these two albums because they are so different. But in the long run, I'll go with One Wild Night.

Agreed!

This is NO contest. This Left Feels Right. With it, we knew we were getting something different.

With One Wild Night, we expected a live CD that gave us what Bon Jovi was world reknown for: great live performances. Instead, we got a half-assed attempt to cash in on a resurgance in popularity that took little effort to throw together. They should have made the title literal and used ONE concert or not used the bs idea of representing the span of the career since the songs came too heavily from 2 shows. Most of the tracks had already been previously released in one form or another. They call it career representative when they didn't put in anything from SWW (maybe a song from Budokan in Japan?) and didn't put in anything from Moscow (Blood on Blood) or Giant's Stadium 1989 (I'll Be There for You) or Hammersmith Odeon (Cadillac Man... a perfect opportunity to let this awesome song shine since it's only been performed live and never released). Instead they reissued bonus tracks in a compliation. And what a kick to the die hard fan that they used KTF from a CLUB show.

I know fans who put together better live compilations and didn't have access to the bands archive. So what's THEIR excuse?

I prefer This Left Feels Right :usa
I don't think I've listen to One Wild Night
all the way through more than once...

ponrauil 12-26-2003 08:46 PM

I prefer TLFR because at least it's what it's meant to be, when OWN is a complete miss at what it's supposed to be.

TLFR for being something new, different and unexpected

davefan 12-27-2003 12:20 AM

own is a milion times better, bon jovi live thats the best it can get even a full concert would have been better and more of the crowed to show the real jovi live feeling but tlfr sucks

One Wild Night is a good Cd....then i voted in it.... but it is a penalty that is lacked some music..... and is totaly diferent the TRFL...

captain 12-28-2003 02:40 AM

Altough One Wild Night is not the perfect live cd for a classic band like Bon Jovi (i mean, Bon Jovi should have released a double cd, with a big booklet and songs from just one concert and not songs from different years and places), i'd vote to it, cause i hate so much This left Feels Right.

ugly_queen_from_mars 12-28-2003 03:29 AM

i prefer own of course. maybe the choice of the songs wasn't that good but it's still a bon jovi live album. and bon jovi are great live.

Ticos_girl 12-28-2003 10:39 PM

allmike 12-30-2003 10:12 AM

After listening to two or three times, now i really started liking some of the songs of TLFR. :?

Waggy 12-31-2003 05:29 AM

It is impossible for me to compare the two. OWN was really released for the newer fans, IMO, so they could get a listen to the whole catalog in a condensed setting. I have played it maybe 3 or 4 times only because like someone said, there was nothing new on the playlist for me. TLFR was released as something different. It is very different. I will admit that I have only listened to it a few times when I need to relax. I just don't relax often enough for sure. lol. I like the new version of IML. I am really looking forward to the box set and pray that it is all they have hinted it to be. Wonder if they need a pizza parlor jury for it? I will volunteer!!

Well I voted for THIS LEFT FEELS RIGHT I like ONE WILD NIGHT too, but its not very good put together (lot of songs are from the same concert - the should have taken from a concert of the year they were released  ) THIS LEFT FEELS RIGHT completly new stuff, which I like somehow

Fleurtje 01-07-2004 08:17 PM

bj4ever_hdb 01-08-2004 11:22 PM

davefan 01-08-2004 11:30 PM

own by a million miles!!!!!!!!!! BJ live thats the best, even I would have preferd one concert or at least the crowed not edited out like that to get more of the real concert feeling, but still Jovi live thats great and TLFR sucks

Icicles 01-09-2004 01:11 AM

Well I agree they are 2 totally diffrent albums . I am a big fan of the Crush tour myself and that probally will go down in history for me as my favorite cd . (7800 and these days bein 2 and 3 respectivly) .

Im sorry for all the TLFR haters out there but I truly like the cd .

Cant every really be produced well in concert , but I like it just the same .

I love all areas of music and I like unique and diffrent reworks of old masters .

You Know . I was gonna say that! I did not like the cuts on that cd . Bon Jovi has much better live stuff I feel than the songs they chose for that cd . They should have chose a better mix

:(
