Taking a long shot here. My aunt has family in Aquadilla and has not been able to get in touch with them. Does anyone have a report from that area?

My aunt heard from her family. They are alive, but have lost everything. I also hope Javier is okay.

Does anyone have Javier on their Facebook at all? He hasn’t logged on here since 19th September.

You know I thought I did but I just checked and no - I don't. His last post was on Sept 19th and Hurricane Maria hit on Sept 21-22. From what I hear there is absolutely no electricity at all so I don't imagine he can get online. :(

I have him on mine, but he hasn't posted recently. The last post on his profile was from the 22nd, regarding the Dam failing... and that was someone tagging him on the news.

It's really bad down there. People are getting robbed for water.

Man the whole situation down there just sucks. It's hard to imagine living where I do but the pictures are a nightmare :(

Javier and his family are fine and just got cell signal back today. He says to give everyone here his best and that things will return to normal soon.
