All that is known so far is

1. it's going to be a blues/rock album
2. they've already written a lot of songs together (so I don't think there will be any covers)
3. they said the album will be guitar heavy
4. judging from the piano pic, Richie is still writing while Ori is busy with Alice Cooper
5. they'll go into the studio in April, giving them about two months to record until Ori has to go back on tour with Alice at the end of May. They also have most of June to work together.

My guess is the album will be released in the fall in September or early next year.

Hopefully this means a tour of Australia when the album is released (if it is indeed released later in the year).

Anyway.... like I stated in the other thread. I think the album will be released in April as originally noted.

I don't think Ebbin has been following Richie around because he has nothing better to do. I think they are recording by day, playing live and having fun by night. They went to Australia so that chick could add some tracks to the album, not just to do a mini club tour (well, maybe both).

Dating as far back as late summer /early September, Richie was talking about another solo record. We got the demo Engine 19 which implies that they were in the studio even back then.

It's my assumption that this is going to be a Richie ONLY album. Orianthi is just adding her guitar to completed tracks. They might have a track or two together but that's it. I don't think they've spent enough time together to construct enough material for a full album.
