Question about Crossroad DVD

I was just wondering if any of you here own the unofficial Crossroad DVD? I'm thinking of getting myself the DVD version and I want to know is the video/audio quality decent? (I.e. equal to, or if not, better than the VHS version)

I was just asking as I have mixed feelings with bootleg DVD's. I have a crap quality DVD of Slippery When Wet: The Videos (the one with a modern picture of Jon on the front), but a great quality Evening With Bon Jovi DVD.

Thanks in advance!

The Crossroad DVD was released in Japan I think, so if it is a copy of that then it would be fine, but otherwise it could be a transfer from VHS so it might not be too great.

No it wasn't as far as I know. There was a Video CD of it though.

The one I see most often is the Russian version which was released aparently in 2001 which has a DVD-shaped cover.

I know there is an official VCD version, but I just don't like the permanent subtitles you get on them, like on the New Jersey VCD.

I already have the VHS by the way but it's slowly dying.

That link isn't an image link, just delete it and upload the image on here

Thank you! This is the cover for the one I'm thinking of buying

That's the one I've seen on eBay, has anyone bought it to comment on the quality? It isn't official, but it may be a copy of the official dvd.
