Do you know Dutch photographer Dos Winkel? He's an excellent underwaterphotographer as well and has some beautiful photo's in his portfolio. He has made 100's of very close up details of some of the most colourful fishes and anemones (sp?). On his site http://www.dos-bertie-winkel.com/en_index.html are some of the photo's.

For above water pics I really dig Yann Arthus-Bertrand work as well, I fell in love with it when I saw an exposition of his 'La terre vue du ciel' (sp?) (feel free to correct my spelling, Jess ;)) project, it's beautiful :).

I very well know your feeling :(... Takes *a lot* of practice and $$$ on good equipment though ;).

Got back in the mood for taking photos today, got 138 (so far), been trying some close-range shots, haven't done many before, in addition to the random cloud shots and such. Some of these are in Liverpool this morning, some near my house in one of the local parks, and then in and around my garden.
