Richie Sambora's Tour 2016!

Just read an announcement that Richie and Orianthi are opening for Bad Company, here's the details:

''Bad Company have announced autumn dates for their Swan Song tour, their first in the UK in four years.

The legendary rock band, consisting of original members Paul Rodgers, Mick Ralphs and Simon Kirke, will be joined by special guests RSO, featuring Richie Sambora and Orianthi, for shows in Leeds, Cardiff, Nottingham, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle and London between October 15 and 29.

Tickets are on sale at 9am on June 3.

Bad Company Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows:

Sat October 15 2016 - LEEDS Firstdirect Arena
Mon October 17 2016 - CARDIFF Motorpoint Arena
Wed October 19 2016 - NOTTINGHAM Motorpoint Arena Nottingham
Fri October 21 2016 - BIRMINGHAM Genting Arena
Mon October 24 2016 - MANCHESTER Arena
Tue October 25 2016 - GLASGOW SSE Hydro
Thu October 27 2016 - NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE Metro Radio Arena
Sat October 29 2016 - LONDON O2 Arena''

I suppose it's a way for them to brag about playing all the big arena's as they'd never fill them on their own. I'm still going, LoL.

No chance Richie can fill O2 (20,000) on his own. None what so ever.

I reckon they will have to close the top tier of put them in the Indigo.

edit - ive read it properly now. Hopefully they will play a small warm up show in London.

Not that I don't care - but he isn't coming anywhere near me. And the last time he had concerts scheduled here, he cancelled at the last minute and I had tickets for 3 shows. I'm still pissed about that.

I have a theory: Since Bad Company call him to play as a guest he would be more sober and consetrated that his solo shows. I hope he would be more consistent as a guest...

I'd be more inclined to believe this theory if he was sober when he did the Les Paul tribute shows. But he didn't look or sound any different. If anything, he may care even less when they're the opening act.

Well, it's a smart move getting exposure in large venues when you are about to release a new album. Is Doc McGee still his manager?

To 1. Come and look at this thread and 2. Comment on it, you would appear to care on some level.
