Would love any info fans have about songs

So I'm working on a big project that I don't want to really talk about until I make some headway.

What I'm looking for is ANY information fans have about the songs. Not looking for chart info or live stuff, specifically anything pertaining to the recording of them. Rough dates, when they were written, stories from the songwriters, what instruments were used etc.

If you have anything from interviews or stories please throw them into this Google Drive folder: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1_e...zD-UIr45kqsBvO

This is a great topic. I was going to post something similar.

I know there are at least 4 Albums with track by track commentaries on YouTube. We can start there.

Albums:

These Days
Crush
Greatest Hits
This House Is Not For Sale.

Not gonna participate in that since we already use the information we gather for the album trivia on our own page, but still interested in seeing what comes out of it and following the discussions.

Not gonna use the Google folder since I don't want my accounts to "interweave", but Desmond Child was recently interviewed by Chris Jericho and said that it was Richie who came up with the "wo-ah, livin' on a prayer" bit on the spot. Also that the pre-chorus originally was the chorus, but they decided to write "another" chorus.

Just Curios...Why Google?

It's already difficult navigating through this dinosaur. Why create an additional element?

It's mostly what I use to keep all my work stuff in one place. I was hoping it would just let people drop files in without needing to sign in but if that's not the case I can look into something else. Just looking for something easy for people to submit stuff.

We are in a world where the less clicks and thinking required, defines easy.

I think it's better here so people can search/find stuff later on.

I'm not really looking for a way to display things so people can go through it. I'm looking to collect the info so I can turn it into something people can access. That's the long term goal, right now I'm just collecting to prepare this.
