How would your ideal BJ album look like?
 

Hello everyone, I got a fun question for you guys. Lately I’ve been wondering about how my ideal BJ album would look like. We all know they got an amazing catalog, which makes it extremely difficult to narrow it down to a 12-track-album.
Anyway, here’s the “rules” (for a lack of a better word):
- 12 songs
- HAS TO BE BJ SONGS (apparently it wasn’t clear enough)
- Include different types of songs (heavy, slow, uptempo, fun etc.)
- Have a starter and an end song
- Sort your collection of songs so it makes for a smooth listen

Ex - This is how my ideal BJ album would look like:
- Starting All Over Again
- Just Older
- It’s My Life
- Last Chance Train
- Something To Believe In
- Always
- Lie To Me
- These Days
- Someday I’ll Be Saturday Night
- Blame It On The Love Of Rock and Roll
- Living On A Prayer
- Open All Night (90s)

BJ album with BJ songs.. why would I include non BJ songs on a BJ forum??

It is a really hard task. Today I would do it this way.

1. The Distance (I personally think the ending of The Distance and the beginning of prayer fit well together)
2. Livin on a prayer
3. Born to be my baby
4. These days
5. Dry County
6. Lost Highway
7. Stick to your guns
8. Scars on this guitar
9. It’s my life
10. What’s left of me (I think it adds something different to the album)
11. Who says you can’t go home (please don’t kill me)
12. Wanted dead or alive

Great album you got there! I know, it’s very hard and i literally thought about it for days. I’m a big fan of your choice with The Distance as the opener! On another note, I must say I’m surprised with the variety/amount of eras you included.. maybe I should have done the same :)
