Bed Of Nails

Has Alice Cooper's Bed Of Nails been any kind of influence to Jovi's Bed Of Roses, any idea?
At Least when Jon Is singing on the album(Trash) and Richie plays some guitar... it could be possible...? Though the message is quite different between those songs:)

just read the lyrics. bed of nails is a fun rock n roll song while bed of roses is meant to be a "confession". my answer would be a clear NO!

They did share the same songwriter (think it was desmond child, can't be sure for certain) so maybe his influence is in there.

Jon wrote BoR alone.

I didn't mean a direct influence on the song as i know BOR was written by Jon. I meant that if you are working with some one time and time again then you their ideas may rub off on you. But as Thesedays2005 it's a common phrase so there probably isn't any link.

Oh. Alice and the band share the same songwriter, not the two songs sharing the same songwriter *Slaps forehead* Gotcha gotcha.

Agreed. It's far too common a phrase to assume any connection.
