Thomas Anderson 06-07-2003 01:49 PM

Uuuurgh...Abba where no different than todays pop music crap...and we all know how bad that is.

I can't stand listening to them, their music is so cheesy.

that is not true at all, they had some real talent thats why ther music look so fresh even this day. For me I just can't stand any pop music these day like Backstreet boys, N'sync or ehat ever it is.
But abba are defnetly different. There music will last ever after.

Yes, their music withstands the test of time. Dancing Queen is still a favorite today at weddings here. :D

Thomas Anderson 06-07-2003 07:25 PM

Do you guys who like Abba like Steps? They sound exactly the same, so if you like one you will probably like the other.

I just can't stand any of their music. I don't really like any 60's/70's pop/disco music.

Voyage

So ABBA have actually reformed and will be releasing a new album Voyage in November 2021 and will also be "going on tour" as CGI, de-aged holograms.

New single "I Still Have Faith in You"

I'm not a hardcore fan or anything but I suppose this is kind of a big deal as it's the first new music in 40 years despite having sworn never to perform again.

I've never cared for the idea of these "holographic" live shows. I just don't see what there is to gain when compared to seeing a real band actually playing live. I understand ABBA want the world so see them as they were rather than as they are now and to be fair, the de-aging does look really good.

There is going to be a "10 piece live band". But I get your point, the absolute cheapest tickets are £65, not something I would consider unless I was a massive fan. I do know some people who have got tickets though
