Saturday Night Single
Just pulled it out and had a listen to always live recorded 06/12/94. Sounds very good, slightly rougher than mid '95 but definitely worth a listen. finishes well too which surprised me and its funny how he changed the way he sang the song so much only months later aswell as his voice getting stronger.
There aint much too watch dvd wise from '94 is there, i know they obviously did not tour, but i would like to see a gig from the crossroads period. Did they do full nights anywhere or was it just appearances where they sang crossroad music (Saturday & Always)?? |
well the 1995 tour was the crossroads tour so...heres one from dec 94

Oh right, why does the these days live from london dvd say wembley 25th june 1995. That was the these days tour surely? or had the album been released and they just played songs from it while still doing crossroads??
|
they started writing these days pretty much the same time as crossroads so lots of these days songs were played on the crossroads tour, but yes D ad been released by the time of live in london.
|
appreciate that thank you!!

no problems:D

I agree.
I saw them in Finland on the CR tour (summer of 1995) and they played only two songs from TD (TAALS and Hey God). TD had been released only recently (one or two months earlier, actually) and I understand they didnīt play too many TD songs that summer. Altough TAALS was a current single, it was Always that was the real hit song by the time. Always was the song everybody was waiting to hear. It was only the next summer they started doing TD songs live on a larger scale. |
I've just managed to track down that CD, it is a pretty good version of it, Jon's voice sounds so awesome on it:)
