That's one big tour.
Who in the hell is buying all the tickets? I've nothing against the band at all. It's just that I've never met an actual live Counting Crows fan in all my days. Nor heard their songs on the radio, nor seen their albums at the top of the charts. |
Crikey....I'm a HELL of a big Crows fan, flew over to see them a few weeks back at Hyde Park O2 Wireless festival and they were fantastic, but even I know they aren't quite an arena band here in the UK. Thats one optimistic looking tour, with regards the venues listed. Last tour they played smaller club and theatre like venues mainly, the new album is great and everything but I don't see the connection with it and this substancial UK tour.
I'll be at the soon to be mentioned Dublin show for sure and maybe one of the other UK dates - they are one of the few bands who i see several times a tour as they really DO change the setlists and the performances of the songs themselves every night. andi |
Saw them at Werchter, a bit of a let down, except maybe for 'A Long December'.

I'll probably end up going to the Glasgow gig. Depends if tix are still available in a months time when I have the cash to buy them (still broke from Jovi). S.E.C.C. is a decent size, so hopefully.
I'm a massive Counting Crows fan too. Only saw them live once, but they're in my top 3 live bands. But if you expect them to play all the songs like they are on the record, or even all the hits, then you'll probably be disappointed. They like to mess around with different things and try songs different ways. If Jovi are my commercial, stadium rock band, and INXS my funky band, then the Crows are my introspective, arty band :) |
Now why didn't you mention Ben Folds was opening?
May have to splash out now. Closer to the time. |
