My PC is a pretty poor excuse for one and dont have the capacity for listening to music, (no speakers). Anyway I was in the local internet cafe and eventually got to the hear Jon and Richie's rendition of this and the video. I was sitting practically breaking my heart when I watched it. I also noticed that Jon was having such a hard time trying to keep it together while singing. What a beautiful song.

I totally agree with you. when Jon sings the first chorus, you see he keeps his eyes of the camera because he's starting to cry. the feling is incredible. I hoped the band would have release it as a single, I eventually posted a message here to talk about it, and waoh! nobody wanted to have this song released as a single, nobody likes the song! I'm french, but I was horrified byt the 11/9 events, and felt the anger and the pain of a whole nation. that's why I loved the much America The Beautiful.
It's not BJ style, but I hope they'll put in the future box.

This song wont be released as a single! not in a million years, why? it's not a very good song and bj dont want to focus on any 9/11 stuff.

Horrible horrible song. I tried once listening to it and couldn´t.
