Well, not exactly current (2 years old), but interesting nevertheless! Thanks for that!

Thanks for pointing that out however considering that he's talking about a time dating back 25 years, I think 2 years would still be enough to warrant this 'current'... it's not like anything would be different if he gave the interview yesterday... my whole point to rendering this 'current' is the fact that he mentioned Phil....

No problem, I didn't mean expose you or something ;-) I figured something like that (the Phil connection) was the reason you posted it. And it's probably one of the reasons he got interviewed in the first place, who knows ;-)

I could tell that you're not a historic Bon Jovi fan... IMO 1990 and 1991 was Jon's best period!!! Blaze is my favorite album... From the vocals, to the writing, ending with the production... I always wished there were demos from this period with Jon on vocals. And possibly some tracks with Jon singing lead on Blood On The Bricks... This interview really sheds some light on all of this, up to and including Levon...

The Phil part was just a bonus...

(thanks!)

How do you come to the (wrong) conclusion that I'm not a historic Bon Jovi fan?? I just haven't had the time to really listen to the interview, that's why I just wrote the stuff about Phil (and only since you mentioned it)...

But you're right in part, I've only been "introduced" to Bon Jovi with Keep The Faith running on MTV. But after the KTF album, I was quick to get all the back catalogue, so yeah, maybe I've been a few years late to the party, but not by that much ;-)

Because of this comment "(the Phil connection) was the reason you posted it. And it's probably one of the reasons he got interviewed in the first place"

Rather grainy video - it was 91. This made me think of the interview where Jon mentioned he and PhilX met in 90 to which he was corrected to 91.

This is the best quality posted by the guy who actually recorded it... Mark Bowman
