Last Man Standing

Which version of this song do you prefer the album version or the version where he has a dig at J-Lo?

I prefer the album version but would be even happier if he had a dig at J-Lo in the album version

I think he only had a dig at J.Lo on the live borgata show.

Yes, that is correct. The "pop rock" junk is still used on the box set version of the song. Jon, just improvised the J Lo lyric when he performed it live at the Borgata in 2003 for the dvd.

That was a great moment, hate that Egotistical bitch.

I don't interpret it as being a personal dig at her, more about the whole "I'm gonna give myself a stupid new name to gain some popularity".

Which is slightly odd considering that's pretty much what he did himself way back in the day ...

Before the fact.....Jennifer Lopez to J Lo was after the fact.

I like the original boxset version much better. The much softer guitar fits the songs theme and lyrics much better in my opinion and helps the song come off as more meaningful.

My preference:

The HAND version ~ both album and live

followed by

The Borgata live version

followed by

the Box Set version

The album version all the way. ALL-DA-WAYYYYYYYYYYY
