Revealing interview with Desmond

For all of us who leaned towards the idea that Desmond wrote Bad Name and Prayer for the band take a listen to this https://t.co/VPHx0G2iGF

He really goes into depth talking about how those songs were written, a lot of collaboration.

I listened to it earlier on. Most of the stuff wasn't new to me but it's always awesome to hear those inside info stories :)

I didn't realize We All Sleep Alone was written for New Jersey.

Thanks! I enjoyed it a lot.

Desmond always gives great interviews. He's smart, humble and very very well spoken. A real class act.

Did Jon and Richie collaborate with Desmond in the 90’s? If not, I wonder why since they had great success in the 80’s.

They did: Keep The Faith, I'll Sleep When I'm Dead, Something For The Pain, This Ain't A Love Song, Hearts Breaking Even, Diamond Ring ;)

So many good songs. But for all the people saying work with him more to get back to that CLASSIC SOUND, I'll give ya three words.

Army. Of. One.

Thanks for sharing this, Matt! Fascinating listen! I can definitely relate to his reaction to the Northridge quake. I couldn't stop my legs from shaking post-quake from the mixture of adrenalin and terror.

I'm not sure if we can blame Desmond for Army of One. The verses sound like him, but the chorus dragging on could be the guy that wrote "it's alright, it's alright (multiply by infinity.)"

Thanks for the link, that was a great listen.
