Well, it won't get millions but if you look at the link Jovi posted, you can stream and download it on many plattforms. And in the end every dollar counts. But Jon does have a loyal fan base.

First time I've not rushed to listen to a new "Bon Jovi" song ... Flat, boring and another snooze fest - Will hold out for the album as I enjoyed This House, but another disappointment.

Very much agreed! Just because the topic of a song and maybe some lyrics are good doesn't mean the finished product has to be good as well. Some like, some don't. I think that, musically and vocally etc., it's flat out boring. And I usually like mellow songs like Not Running Anymore or She's A Mystery. But this one, I still can't even remember a melody or anything in my head. Nothing that sticks.

Bob Dylan sings Springsteen. It almost works too. The lyrics and music are there (for the most part) but Jon has been so crippled vocally, he can’t take it anywhere anymore.

However many weeks later, I stand by my rating of 7 out of 10. I agree with what people are saying, it's needs a melodic hook. August 7th is a downer of a song but it's at least musically compelling. Melodically this ain't doing it for me BUT I can still say I like the song and the way it's written.
