Yes, they signed a contract. They also made a provision where no member can form another band and tour on the name Motley Crue.

I take it you skipped class the day they covered hyperbole.

Hyperbole is the answer people give when they're caught being full of shit.

In my experience anyway.

I couldn't think of a better epitaph for them.

Okay, you want an exact figure? Maybe 500 people in venue that holds several thousand. I'm surprised the show wasn't canceled. You could get tickets the day of the show in the first few rows on the floor and the on the sides of the stands closest to the stage (where I sat with a ticket bought the day of the show). MAYBE 500 people. Now can you see why I said 8 people showed up using hyperbole? It would be the same as saying 8 people showed up to Richie's solo LA show. It was woefully underpopulated.

I don't feel any need to lie about stuff on this message board so I'm the last person you're going to find "full of shit."

Tickets by me are as low as $25, so I'll be there. :)

Mötley along with Jovi are the reason that I love music as much as I do. I have mixed feelings about this, but if this means Nikki Sixx focuses on (and tours Australia) with Sixx AM then I am all good with it. And to all those who say Vince Neil sounds like shit...well he always has. And he might be fat. And he might be drunk. But that dude ****ing owns JBJ now from a stage presence perspective. He works that stage and his fat butt brilliantly. I loooove The Crüe.

(Gibson) It's true: Motley Crue are plotting their farewell tour, which will take place this summer. While fans are understandably mourning the loss of the legendary '80s rock band, there's some comfort in the fact Mötley Crüe's members plan to continue with their respective solo projects.

During the band's press conference where the guys announced their final outing, each member also chatted about what's ahead for him once Mötley Crüe are no longer a band.

For frontman Vince Neil, the future will bring more time for his restaurants and solo music. "I've been in the restaurant business for a long time, and so (I'm) just continuing that, and also music," he said. "I'll never stop singing on stage and (will) kinda carry that Mötley banner…with me with all the concerts that I perform at… I have to have music in me so…I'll be continuing that."

"I just moved to Nashville, so I got lots and lots of musicians to work with," added guitarist Mick Mars. "I plan on seriously pursuing my solo album now and coming out with a book about myself, but I might write it backwards from death till I was born. I'm not sure on that one yet."

Drummer Tommy Lee said his future involves some "big surprises" that he can't reveal yet. Bassist Nikki Sixx said he also has a ton of different projects going on. "I have a side project, Sixx: A.M., that's something I'm very passionate about," Sixx said. "I'm gonna keep doing that. I have a radio show that I do. (I'm) working on a Broadway play (and will) continue to make music."

I think Mick Mars solo album will be great. Really good guitarist.

I honestly think that Tommy Lee will just fade away from music. His solo albums were trash and so too his side projects like MOM.

Vince Neil will release Motley sounding solo albums and Nikki has Sixx AM and a ton of other stuff lined up

Tommy Lee's Spinal Tap moment during MÖTLEY CRÜE's Final Concert (+ videos)
It doesn't beat U2's egg malfunction though.
