"Temptation" anyone?
I think this track really stands out, like "Save A Prayer", as it is far away from the typical BJ sound. It shows the creative, not formula-driven, experimenting side of the band. I just love the feeling and the tone of it, it's the only B-side from "Crush" which should have made the album imo (I guess many may disagree here). Can't decide which version I like better, the original B-side demo or the remix from the box. Maybe the latter, as it sounds more like a full song.
Anyone else worshipping it? |
Omg I love the boxset one SO much.

Man I loved that song, the whole box set is just great.
|
I like it a lot.

I like the Box Set remix, but I don't like the original B-side version at all.
|
I've never heard the original, just the one of the box. Am I write in thinking that the band don't actually play on it?
Anyways, I agree it's a really good song, like you said, quite different from the typical Bon Jovi sound. It's odd, seeing how completely different Crush could have been |
I think the song is weak, definitely a b-side.

I love Temptation. I believe it is one of the songs that was to be part of a 3rd JBJ solo album - which then became Crush. That's one reason why it doesn't fit the rest of the record. Picture it on Destination Anywhere and it fits perfectly.
I like both versions but then I love Destination Anywhere. |
I LOVE the version on the box set. The original b-side version was just okay, not something I wanted to listen to over and over again. I was blown away by the box set version.
|
I've only ever heard the Box Set version and I love the song. I like nearly every song from the Box Set and I reckon "Temptation" is close to my favourite.
