New York - any tips?
I'm going to New York on Wednesday for 8 days with my brother. First time heading there. We've planned most of the trip already in terms of sight-seeing. At the moment, this is what's planned:
Bus Tour Empire State Building Statue of Liberty Central Park Times Square 9/11 Memorial Have I missed out anything? I'm not a museum-type person, so gonna give that a miss. |
Trip to New Jersey? :p

How far's that?

An endless list really when it comes to New York, however, I'd recommend the Hayden Planetarium. It's just off Central Park and really well worth a visit.
Williamsburg in Brooklyn is really nice too. |

There a marathon on Sunday so probably will avoid Times Square and Central Park that day.
Im Staying at 14th street. Just checked in. Need to start researching..... |
Every area has its own atmosphere. I really like the West Village, Soho and the Lower East Side for culture, interesting shops and diversity.
If you are planning on eating out try booking in advance (weekends) For me, Grimaldi's in Brooklyn (close to the Brooklyn Bridge) has the best Pizza. Enjoy:-) |
