This will be the first time since 2003 I'll be sitting out a concert. My last show was that 2018 show, I had fun but realized it just wasn't the same anymore. I don't feel like taking off work just to go see the same old show, same old songs, Jon's terrible vocals/timing, etc.
Funny story though; at the 2018 Milwaukee show I had a weird interaction with a soccer mom casual fan sitting next to me over the song 'Bounce'. She didn't believe the song existed. She was asking something like "what song do you really want to hear tonight?" and I said I hoped they would do Bounce, and she gave me the weirdest look and busted out laughing. "That's not a Bon Jovi song!!" I was thinking, oh boy, here we go...so I take out my phone and show her the album Bounce and she just shook her head and said "you can't believe everything you read on the Internet honey" |
They should try playing Blaze of Glory, I'm curious to see how Phil does the guitar solo.
I think that from now on that will be my expectations, to see how the rest of the band play the songs, since you can't expect anything good from Jon with the state of his voice in these moments. |
I'm going to wager it's the exact same set from the first two shows.

I’ll go for the same set with minimal variations. Probably the first outing this tour of something that it’s not quite missed (WLOL, Crash, WGIGO, even In these arms).

Definitely going to be the exact same set as the first 2 shows, I do wish Jon would mix it up during the acoustic section of the show, play Diamond Ring or even Bells of Freedom but that’s probably unlikely to happen.

I think the show should have started by now. I really hope it's not identical again. On the fence about doing another show this tour and I want to hold off a bit before firmly deciding.

So far 4 songs in the same order as previous.

Just in case anyone wants to listen in on the show, this what I’m watching right now hopefully it goes for the entire duration of the show.

Radio as song #2 is such an odd choice. Not to mention it doesn't sound great. Swapping out Radio and Born to Follow for other songs would really make that opening chunk of the show so much better.
