Uuh whaat? TLFR version with Oliva whatshername is your favourite.

I never would've expected that was even possible, even from you!

I know, I know, I'm weird, but I really like it. I actually think her voice works with the arrangement of the song.

The American version of Crossroads has an acoustic version called Prayer '94.

The Northern Cowboy 03-20-2007 09:35 PM

Oh, we're talking about Prayer '94. Nevermind then, just had a memory blank.

That would be my favourite, by the way. ;)

kiddSambo 03-21-2007 05:22 AM

Prayer '94
Origional
Acoustic
Box Set

VVVVVVVVVV
and way way way down the list is TLFR

Vettetrax 03-21-2007 05:29 AM

the TLFR version is torture to listen to. that Masterpiece of a song was ripped/torn apart and slaughtered down to the last note.. it probably wouldn't have been so bad if it didn't have screechy "thing" singing with jon.. if richie had sang that part.. it wouldve came out decent.. but that horrible screech of a dying creature ruined it.. i dont care how jon knew her or what friend it was.. bad move man...

anywho
SWW
Prayer 94
everything else

one of my personal favorite versions was the live acoustic performance they did for 911 on tv.. that was really good

Crushgen24/88 03-22-2007 07:32 PM

Just watching the TLFR DVD, and I really like this version (with Jon and Ritchie, as opposed to Screechie). No as good as the original, or Prayer '94, but it's much, much, MUCH better than the version on the album.

I agree. I was at that concert and it was a relief to hear Jon and Richie sing it. I actually prefer the DVD soundtrack to the released CD.

Yeah, this is actually a pretty good DVD. I hadn't watched it in a long time, and I forgot how much more cohesive it is than the album.
