right hold on.

time to be educated folks.

christianity comes from judaism yeah? the same god. jews didnt accept jesus as the messiah.

islam-originally the first muslims were mainly converts from christianity or judaism.

they accept jesus as the messiah but not as part of a trinity-id est the father son and holy spirit.

they too descend from adam and moses....

hinduism...from a monotheists' perspective doesn't make sense.

seeks too are monotheists.

we believe in one god.

"we believe in on god
the father the almighty
creator of heaven and earth
of all that is seen and unseen"

thats the start of the creed ;)

yes, so wich god? any proof of anything? wich god?

there is proof of jesus, just not as a son of a god. so where is/was god? And what did he create?

this debate could go on forever. what i was stating was that as RC i believe in the same god as jews and muslims.

as for "what god? where is he...prove he exists?!"

who can prove he doesn't?

thus it's a question of faith. i'll quote Jesus himself when he informed his disciples that he was to be killed in jerusalem and Peter, (latin for stone....as he is the rock on which the church was built) said to jesus "We must'nt let that happen! We must protect you!"

jesus responded "Get behind me Satan! you are thinking with the head of a man rather than the heart of God!"

in other words...man doesn't have the capacity to know or understand fully what gods' plan is-he did however bestow upon us the ability to have faith.

and this takes us back to the undertones of bonjovi and their music :)

any questions fire away!

santa claus is a real person!

he was catholic priest from norway who heard about a fathers plans to sell his daughter to the vice trade as they were so poor.

to preserve her innonence he threw pouches of golden coins down the chimney thus saving her from protsitution.

as jesus said "let the children come to me...for the kingdom of god belongs to ones such as these"

if we were all more child-like the world would be a far better place.

you are in my prayers comrade :)

oh boy, yes of course he was real. But did he or does he come to doors to everyone around the world during 2 christmas days?

again if god excist then satan is the better one. Think every 5 seconds to a child dying to poverty. Then think how much any religion is doing for them. Then think wich institution is the richest in the world and don't give a **** about those kids dying.

again...you re thinking about earthly goods!

soften your heart...there's more to life than this! we are called to love god. do you seriously think all the complexitites that surround us at this moment are the result of chance?

i think that is a more laughable that a creator. (ps i too believe in evolution but it was a response to a stimulus)
