Album ranking in 2020
 

Hi, everybody. It’s been ten days since new Bon Jovi album came out, so I think it’s time to revise our Bon Jovi album ranking and to see where “2020” fits in. For me the experience with the last few album was very different. I hated “What About Now” from the beginning and I pretty much still hate it. I loved “Burning Bridges” and I still love it. I liked “This House Is Not For Sale” at the beginning and ranked it somewhere in the middle, but it didn’t stand the test of time for me and slipped to the penultimate position in my Bon Jovi album ranking. I still love a few tracks (The Devil's In The Temple, Scars On This Guitar, Come On Up To Our House, I'll Drive You Home, Walls), but don't care much about the rest. At the moment I’m really happy with “2020”. I didn’t expect much, but bar a couple of tracks, which are pretty average (Limitless, Do What You Can), I think that it’s quite a strong album and I really enjoy listening to it. We will see if it stands a test of time :).

WAN is last in my ranking if you noticed, so no, there's no chance I'll slip it before These Days ;). I know that These Days gets a lot of love on this forum, but I think it’s a bit overrated. For me it has a few really great tracks. I love "My Guitar Lies Bleeding In My Arms" which is fantastic and one of my all-time favorite Bon Jovi songs. "Hey God", Something To Believe In, All I Want Is Everything and "Damned" are also very good. The rest of the songs are nothing special, but I enjoy listening to them. The only two tracks, which I'm tempted to skip sometimes are "Something For The Pain" and "These Days" (I know you'll say, that maybe I want to slip "What about now" instead and my answer again will be - no, "These Days" is not that bad :D).

Do you mean find an average position of each album? Might be worth waiting a few more days before making that.

I must have the same syndrome as I did the same. In fact my case might be even worse as I also ranked Burning Bridges above These Days and BB is not so new anymore :D

I haven't played these days in full for over 10 years easy, its a great album but it is slightly overrated by the fans. But I suppose its down to individual taste. Ask me to do the list again in a years time and apart from the top4 4 it would all change order.

If I had to choose between NJ or TD live in its entirety would be NJ every time It just has more oooomph live for me

Seriously shocked at how high some people are ranking WAN. I'm thinking some people have forgotten just how bad that album is cos they never listen to it - that's the only possible explanation. Anyway, for me:
