Someday I'll Be Saturday Night

What do people think of this song? The fact that a) it isn't on an album and b) when Crossroad is mentioned, Always seems to be the thing that people discuss because of its commercial success means that Someday isn't given much of a mention. Even when discussing setlists, it barely rates a mention, yet no one complains about it being played too much or anything, like it's a forgotten song almost. :?

Another question- I have Good Guys Don't Always Wear White as a b-side on the Someday single. Is that because it was a chance to be the other single with Always, or did it come from elsewhere? IMO, it's a better song than Someday, but I still like Someday a heap. Just a thought. Cheers. :)

Aloha !

Always was a big succes in the US while Sat. Night has never been released over there. Anyway, Sat. Night has never been one of my favorites, I just couldn't like it. During this tour the extra verses sound awesome and after the improvisation of Jon the crowd goes wild on it. It's very cool.

Salaam Aleikum,

I agree

I love the song, didn't really like it on Crossroads but then heard the extended live version of it at Wembley in 1995 and it blew my head off, it just kept going on and on and on......brill!! Then they hv changed it this tour from what I hear on my Tokyo CD it still sounds awesome so I say keep the song, if we are getting rid of anything on the setlist it is Twist n shout or Shout at the end of Bad Medicine - Tokyo had Peppermint Twist - sooooo much better

Saturday night is a brilliant song!!! Great rythm, melody, and sounds fantastic live! I was last week at the concert in Vienna, they played Saturday, and the respond from the crowd was huge. It was my 6th BJ concert, but I am always very happy, when they play it.

For about 10 years before I got into Bon Jovi, there was this song I knew I had heard when I was a lot younger, a really good song that had "Saturday Night" in the title, and was about someone still being alive. Every time I heard a song that sounded slightly like it, I was like "Is this it?" only to be dissapointed that it wasn't. But now I've found it, and I'm happy! Theres just something so uplifting about this song.... Fantastic song! :D

Keep On Rockin'

Saturday Night is one of my favorite songs! I would really miss it if it weren't played--moreso than a lot of other songs.
