finally after a long time waiting, EMI confirmed that this great show will be released on a 2 disc set on 25 october!

also after the releaseing of Dark side of the moon as a SACD, in 2005 Animals will be released in a 5.1 mix. that is great too!

Cool! I've been hearing this news...but couldn't find any actual info from EMI. Where did you find that? This is also the first I've heard it being a 2 disc.

I do know David Gilmour and the production team have been working on this DVD feverishly....it's definately not a straight from VHS issue like Bon Jovi's Live From London.....I imagine it's remastered for high definition. I know Gilmour was talking about re-doing the sound mix so that it is true 5.1 at a minimum if not 7.1 knowing him. I'm sure the picture will be digitally transerred or even remastered for High Definition. The video was a best seller and has been off the market for a number of years now. So you know this DVD is gonna be a best seller.

yes, David gilmour been working on it for a long time. the audio will be mixed with 5.1. and i heard they will also put the mising songs that was not on the vhs version.

What missing songs? It's already pretty long...I don't think any songs were edited out.

I guess we'll see what the final product will be soon enough.

Oh boy oh boy :D I have been waiting for this a long time too. Thanks for posting Arash. Oct and Nov are shaping up to be good months for music and video.
