I can tell you this...

When Aldo came back from Jon's house with the idea (two of them with an acoustic guitar, and a hand held cassette recorder) it was a chord change and some scratch melodies for the verse and chorus.

On that Friday, I was one of the people working to get the song done. We worked all weekend, here is what I remember... the opening hook was Aldo's. The arrangement and feel for the song was Aldo (and us).

Aldo went back to Jersey with the demo and Jon sang on it. He brought it back for a little more polishing added some bg. vox and that was that.

He is totally truthful, the song was +85% untouched, just recorded with the famous musicians.

There is a demo of it, that weekend recording at Aldo's studio, with Jon singing. Not sure who has it, but you would hear how close it is.

Peace.

Awesone story mystery man. Any other good ones to share? Who did the demo vocals on Blood on The Bricks?

Aldo.

Backing vocals were done by another local studio player.

All of the songwriting and demos were cut at Aldo's studio.
