Bon Jovi - "Rumble In The House"

There are rummors that Bon Jovi registered song called "Rumble In The House". We officialy never heard it but for me at the end of NBC AFL commercial we hear (start 1:46) that snippet. For me it's Jon on vocals with some distortion. It could be great song btw.
Do you have any information about that song? When they did that commercial? 2003?? 2004? Maybe there is info when they registered it?

yeah, nice song; it was registered, writers: John Bongiovi, Richard Sambora and Patrick Leonard

Because Patrick Leonard was a co-writer I always assumed it was recorded during the This Left Feels Right sessions. I have a theory it almost made the box set but it's just my own crazy theory.

According to the TLFR liner notes, they'd originally planned for Leonard to produce the next studio album. Sure, it was when TLFR was new and in part marketing chatter, but there may have been sessions with him afterwards.

Good call. I wonder what else came out of the sessions. Thief of Hearts and Last Man Standing would have been cut prior to the marketing material. Who knows if the idea was dropped when the album tanked.

Those two were originally supposed to be on TLFR. To this day, I don't understand why they were dropped. They WERE played on the DVD show, weren't they?

Sorry I meant the marketing materials for TLFR. Yep. One of the Borgata shows was web streamed and they cut the live feed for those two songs.

Fantastic answers. Thank you

Alternate history :

oh man, imagine if instead of TLFR they had just directly went and made that album with Patrick Leonard. Imagine if they never jumped on the Shanks wagon..
Not to say HAND is bad but... there is this wannabe Avril Lavigne part to it 😀

Thief of Hearts and Last Man Standing are decent songs. I admit that their BOXSET production is a little boring as is TLFR in general. And HAND is cooler as sound. However maybe the evolution of the band would have been different had they made this Leonard album.
Surely interested to hear other music from those sessions...
