stu cable - stereophonics

The drummer from the stereophonics has been sacked!!!!

Stu Cable is no longer with the band, Kelly has said as a friend that he loves him and all that, but in terms of commitment, he had to go! However they won't "replace" him

Sounds like another band we all know and love, sacking a band member then never replacing them!!!

Maybe the stereophonics are about to go through their equivalent of the BJ boys after New Jersey

It could happen! After all, the Phonics have only had one good album, Just Enough..... this just may be the end of the line for them :)

Kev 09-27-2003 12:33 AM

the phonics are one of my fave bands, i REALLY wanna see them live before they split. They are awesome live, i have one of their dvds, i cant remember which one, but they are 4king brilliant!

Fave album for me would have to be
Performance and cocktails

face song
Bartender and The thief

indeed, the first two albums were out of this world, and Performance and Cocktails remains to be my fave NBJ album. I dont think JEEP or their latest, lived up to expectations sadly.

I am really envyous (sp??) of Carli. I would give my left arm to go and see them perform live.

said it before and ill say it again.

saw them 3 times and they were decent at best and terrible at worst.

think its more to do with family stuff than him hitting the drink or drugs but i suppose it'll free up some stage room. the past 2 albums stuarts had a massive drumkit kind of like tico's and he only ever used 2 toms :?

i dunno man maybe kelly jones is turning into a bit of an ego prick? i dunno about u but the production he did on you've got to go there is terrible and either he didn't listen to it after it was done or he's conviinced himself that he can do stuff he's not capable of.
